I recently picked up Peter Shankman’s new book from my favorite guilty pleasure, Amazon!

His new book is titled Customer Service:  New Rules for a Social Media World.  I haven’t finished it yet but so far it is pretty interesting. 

It makes you really stop and think about the things that you post on the internet and in return, the things your customers post about you. 

From reading his book, I have started to really watch blogs, twitter and Facebook for any mention of our company.  The last thing you want is an angry customer burning up the internet with horrible messages about your company.  I am pleased to announce that everyone seems to be really pleased with our services and products!

As I read more, I will be sure to post about it but I think this is a great book for most companies to read.  Especially if you are taking an active role in social media. 

And at only 208 pages, anyone can finish this book!
