Man killed in North Jacksonville crash with truck carrying port-a-potties
From the Florida Times Union:
A man was killed in a Tuesday morning crash with a truck carrying port-a-potties at a Northside intersection, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Sgt. R.A. Harville of the Traffic Homicide Unit said police were dispatched about 7:30 to Sawpit and Croaker roads. Police are still investigating and have yet to determine the direction of the vehicles when they crashed.
The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. Harville said police are not identifying him until the family has been notified.
The sergeant said he was not aware if any passengers in either vehicle was wearing a seat belt.
