On December 14, 2012, a small town in Connecticut suffered a tragedy. The lives of twenty six people were cut short. The children and adults that lost their lives on that day will always be remembered. In honor of the brave twenty six people that passed, those whose lives were changed because of the senseless violence did something incredible.
The Sandy Grounds is a project where a playground will be built to remember the life of those who passed. Sparked by the reconstruction of a playground in New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy struck, the name of the project is double sided: Sandy Hook and Hurricane Sandy.
