Don't be Blue this Winter

With all the snow we've been getting, there is no doubt that finding something fun to do is getting harder. Luckily for you, we have a few things you can do to get out of this cold funk!

• Make sure to take your Vitamin C. You don’t want to get sick this season; make sure you stock up on orange juice and vitamin C tabs.
• Work on your resolutions. Remember that goal you set for yourself on New Year’s? This is the perfect time to work, or start working, toward them.
• Treat Yourself. Having something to look forward to can lift your mood and let’s be honest, you work hard, you deserve it.
•  Relax. Like I said, you work really hard between work, family and friends. You owe it to yourself to relax. Remember, it’s okay to say ‘no’.
• Enjoy the season. I know that it’s cold, but use all the snow to your advantage. Go sledding, skiing or snowboarding. Don’t know how? Get lessons!

Not sure what to do this holiday season? Sick of the holiday gift shopping and need a little break? If you answered yes to the second question, we found the perfect place for you. Bright Nights is a Christmas lighting display spectacular. Located in Forest Park of Springfield, MA, the annual event brings holiday cheer to all. With various sponsors and an array of themes, the drive through Forest Park can make any night a fun family night. The themes include:

Can’t make it to see the light this year? No worries! The website has a virtual tour of the lights that even including the moving displays. Just be sure to play cheerful music in the background because if you were there in person, loud and cheerful music would be coming from your car’s speakers!

As many of you may know, one of our offices is located in Bridgeport, CT. If you are ever headed our way, remember that we are not the only interesting going on in Bridgeport, though we are high on the list. 1. Wonderland of Ice - If you are interested in learning how to ice skate or want to practice your skills, head on over to the Wonderland of Ice, the ice skating rink located in Bridgeport
2. Captain's Cove Seaport - Captain's Cove is one of Bridgeport's hot spots for good food and entertainment. It also has a small outdoor shopping center where you can get souvenirs and handmade good.
3. Beardsley Zoological Garden - Come by to meet Bridgeport's cute friends! Beardsley Zoo also has fun events for children, so if you're traveling with little ones, make sure to stop by.
4. Downtown Cabaret Theater - This is the center where entertainment takes place; from plays to musicals to concerts. If you need some fun in your life, head on over.
5. Bridgeport Theater Company - Featuring plays and musicals like To Kill a Mocking Bird, Shrek the Musical and Dreamgirls.
