Word of Mouth

Who has heard of the phrase 'word-of-mouth'? Its is defined as the passing of information from person to person through verbal communication. It just so happens the word-of-mouth is extremely powerful. Because  it is a lot easier to explain and understand, here is a scenario.

Lets say you are the owner of the new business in town. While tending to your first customer, you give your absolutely best. You were simply doing whatever you could to make sure your customer was happy. This customer is so impressed by the service he or she  received the they told all of their neighbors. This sets of a chain reaction. Before you know it, your customer's neighbors are telling their neighbor and then your customer's neighbor's neighbors are telling their neighbors and then your business is booming. Keep in mind that this could have gone the other way. If you did  not treat the customer in a  polite and attentive manner, the same chain reaction would have taken place, but instead of having a booming business, you would not have many customers in your store.

Word-of-mouth is also powerful in different aspects of your lives; whether in your personal life or professional life, news travels fast
