If you don't know what big sporting event is going on as your read this, then it's a good thing you're here. The 2014 FIFA World Cup began on May 12th and will go well into July 13th. With anywhere from one to four games a day, this month of soccer is sure to keep everyone on their toes. But for first time watchers, the ranking system can be quite confusing. We would like to break it down for you.At the beginning of the World Cup, 8 groups, categorized by letters, are formed. The teams are categorized by ranking in previous years. There are four teams in each group. The teams in a group play each other until there are two victors who will go into the next round.
At this point, there are 16 teams which are schedule to play each other until there is one victor left!
So, we want to know; who are you rooting for?!
