More Rules

I thought I posted this yesterday but I guess it didn’t work!

To continue my post from Monday here are some more rules and tips for ordering portable toilets for events:

Some events call for a nicer type of restroom.  Here is part of a recent article that describes the difference between restroom trailers and portable restrooms.

There are many occasions when the need arises for portable restrooms or restroom trailers. When the call of nature hits and you are at an outdoor event, there needs to be somewhere to go for relief. How do you choose between single port-o-potty units and more versatile restroom trailers?

The choice basically comes down to a matter of need, conformity to state sanitation codes and your budget. The size of the event, type of event and how long you will need to rent the portable facilities all play a part in your decision to choose either single, stand alone, portable restroom units or a restroom trailer.

A general rule for understanding the costs of renting the different units is as follows. Simple plastic, single stall units (port-o-potties) are at the low end of the cost scale. The more units you order, the lower the price per unit. Restroom Trailer rentals can be quite high for multi-unit, executive style trailers that feature individual bathrooms, complete with sinks, oak cabinets, designer colors and even some pictures decorating the walls.

Sanitation codes across the country require restroom facilities for special events where a large number of people may gather.

To make this a little easier, I find the best way to describe the difference as this:

If you are looking to be cost effective and you have a very large crowd of people, go for the standard portable toilets.  Nothing is worse than a long line for the bathrooms.  Have a large quantity of portable toilets means that no one waits in line and everyone is happy.

If your event is a wedding or a special occasion, go for the restroom trailer.   This means that no one is trying to wrangle a wedding dress into a portable toilet.  Plus the restroom trailers come with air conditioning, running water, mirrors etc which you want to have at any special occasion.

I hope this clears it all up but if you have any other questions, feel free to contact our office at (877) 234-6545 and anyone there can answer your questions.

More to come tomorrow!
